BOBCAT TOILETS
BOBCAT TOILETS
Do bobcats make scrapes and bury there scat or only at territory markers? I have been finding alot of bobcat scat(I think it is) in the bottom of washes and low dry creek beds and didn't think it was bobcat scat, am I wrong in thinking they do bury it?

Yep, in the areas in the five States that we hunt Bobcat do not bury their Scat!
We find that a Cat, when it starts to feed will get up stretch and travel a short distance to a road or dry creek bed, some type of travel corridor, defecate, sometimes scratch or make a "Cat Kick", then proceed on about their business!
We find that an individual Cat will deposit Scat in the same place regularly.
Hope this helps!

Sounds like you found a good spot. Thats at least one cats home area, maybe more than one cat depending on how far away the toilets are frome each other. Good luck

well last weekend while checking for lion and bobcat sign we found a lion skull and lower jaw that had been there for at least a year and a half dont know how it died no puncture marks on it anywhere but hopfully a good sign that another lion is in the area hope it's a big male.
