How To Tell a Dogs Spaded?

Ok I have read a lot on this, and thought I knew how to tell but have never really had to before but I have a sneaky feeling one of my pups isnt spaded. Supposedly I thought she was because she came from a shelter but hers was a special case. She came to the shelter with her mom, but then a lady that ran the shelter decided she wanted her. I told her that if she ever wanted to get rid of her that I would take her because I already had her mom (she came with her mom to the shelter) and her mom is spaded and assumed she was. There is no indication of a scar. So I guess is how can you tell without fully knowing that a dog is spaded? When do they start their first heat?

Also all my dogs that are neutered and one that is not neutered are all 3 trying to hump her at times.

I have had dogs come in as early as 8mos old if that helps any

Hmmm well she definetly hasnt there and she's probably around 10 months old. So im not sure, Im hoping she is, but also wouldnt mind it if she wasnt. Just really wanted to know if she was or not.

Is she swelling up and whipin her butt in their face?

Well they play a lot and she throws her butt at them at times so yes there but I havent noticed any swelling yet, kind of pinkish red around her area down there

I have had pups come in as early as 6 months and late as 2 years for their first heat cycle. Before you ever notice any swelling you will notice blood. And after a couple days when it swells, you will notice blood and swelling.

Ok, I finally found the scar, whoever did it did a hell of a job because Ive looked twice before and couldnt find it. But i did find it today. How I couldnt find it before is beyond me! Haha feel like an idiot but it was hard to find and Ive never had a problem telling that any other dog was spade before her. Thanks everyone for your input though
