Just introducing myself and my dogs. im 30 yreas old and i started doggin hogs about 6 or 7 years ago and have been hooked ever since. it started with one dog that i got from a friend then i had 2, then 3 and so on ...... befor i knew it i had a solid pack and was catching hogs. i went at it solo for quite a while due to the fact that all i knew were bow hunters. i am no veteran dogger by any means but evrything i have learned has been from first hand experience. alot of trial and error in the beggining, but it has more than paid off. i love it . i lost two of my best strike dogs on new years day so i havent been out since then and man am i going nuts! so i am down to two bitches in heat,one catahoula and her daughter who is half pitt, both of them are great on hogs but need a solid strike dog to lead them. my 13 year old catahoula, who was my first dog, still loves to get out and will find hogs but he had been headed for retirement but his 2 pupils as previosly stated were killed new years day, and the son of my first catch dog a 1/2 cat & 1/2 pitt. he is still on the mend from 1-1-10. he is only 2 but has been on hogs since he was 4 months old. its cool to find a site that is as dedicated to doggin as i am. i cant wait to see som pics and read some stories . ill post up some pics of my last few hunts.

Welcome. You can learn a lot from this site. I run hog dogs as well down in King City. The dogs i run for hogs are crossed, collies, cur, kelpies, catahoulas.

Thanks Tony. this site seems awsome so far. i run 2 catahoula's, one BMC ,one BMC/ cat cross and two cat/pitt crosses. one pictured above and his littermate. good to hear there is someone from my neck of the woods (well....kinda) . king city huh? i havent had the privlege to hunt out there but ive heard stories of big tuskerss comin outa there.
