I'm 44 I've been involved with hounds my entire life.I am the grandson of our breeds founder LESTER NANCE. I am NANCE bred!! My family currently live in Lester's home. I hunt what I raise and raise what I hunt ,always have. These are all very good hounds .I breed for intelligence, nose, and heart. Never before have I had time to treat this like a business but due to economic situations I have found time to get invoved with these houndsmen sites and see how quick word can spred. I'm new to this board, but my name is Claude Vaughn (I'm the third) and I'm currently working with a pair of eight month old puppies from Trent (the male is half owned by Trent and half owned Claude Vaughn Jr. (my dad) his name is White River Bruno the female is half owned by my wife, and my dad her name is Vaughn's White River Maggie)

Here is a video of Bruno on the tree with Gordon's Reese (A nance dog that I'm hunting in the Pkc hunts for Trent's brother Kip, reese is the littermate brother to WldCh Big D) The dog in picture is Bruno, you can see how hard he tree's. He treed like that for an hour before I got to them, and like usual they had the coon. you can hear Reese in the back ground, he is leashed back. Trent's dogs are the real deal!! I'm honored to be included in hunting some of them.

btt Claude, thanks again for working that special young dog this winter our coons where snowed in most of Jan / Feb. (not to good for pup training) folks Bruno is a natural. He is off Drum . Drum is off Rowdy Jr. and Indy. (Dan and Flo are Drums only living littermates.) Rowdy was Lester's last dog they are all right here at White River Kennel. Pups and Stud services avalible.Flo and Dan Introducing at stud White Clouds Mr. Baker very intelligent, track driving hard accurate tree hound. this is the dog I've been looking for to fill the void and repair the damage the competion dogs have put into our breed .ROWDY JR. still going strong at 14 years old. (she looked real good last night. she can't hear very good anymore so she is very independent split 3 times from very good dogs and had 2coons and a den) folks don't forget to get one of Lester's books (Sparkie and Hall of Fame female White River Rowdy) Thanks for your time TG
