Re: Full House Elite horse sale
yea they are a little rough (welcome to a wyoming ranch raised horse), It is snowing and the wind chill puts us at 13 above today. The pics were taken out in the pasture, Anyone can clean a horse up and make him look better in a picture then what he really is. Then you go to the sale and see what he really is and it isn't the same horse. By the time the sale comes around they will be slicked off and shined up. We just wanted people to get an idea of the confermation of our horses.

Yak business is good, they produce great wool and hair for spiners. We don't have a problem with our yaks, the problem with alot of people that have yaks is that they don't have any livestock sense.

They are all 5 year olds. The gray is a mare, she is a nice ride out side, and an experianced kid can ride her. The sorrel is double bred little town who had a speed indext of 100+. He has a great mind and is super nice to ride. The Bay is a big stout horse that is willing to do what ever. I started him as long 3 and he wasn't willing to do anything. I turned him out got him in as a 4 year old and was a little more willing. Got to a point and he was done, turned him back out for a while got him back in this winter and he is more then willing to do what ever. It is amazing what a mind will do if you let it develope.

No, I rode some colts for the people putting the sale on. After they saw our mares and how they were bred they asked us if we could be part of it.

I have been to Craig's place and he is a heck of a nice guy with a good family. Man that little boy of his is a pistol. the day I was there he go dumped off several times and just couldn't wait to crawl back on another one. My son in Sheridan bought the big buckskin paint Frank horse from him. that is a whale of a horse and he is good on either end. Dang snowstorm he and another horse walked over a cattleguard. Frank fell thru and got hung up. Scott got him out but he tore the heck out of his front legs and he just now is getting over it and spent a lot of time at the vets office.

Re: Full House Elite horse sale
Dad had a big sorrel horse one time out of the blue try and jump the cattle gaurd. We watched him walk up to it, which he had for the past 5 years, and try and jump it. lucky that it was pipe so it tore him up but didn't cripple him. Those are bad deals.
Re: Full House Elite horse sale
The old man is 21. Mamadidntraisenofool(barn name, Flash) is an own son of Special Effort and Granny Garrett. Granny Garrett is out of Go man Go and granddaughter of Vandy. I bought him 4 yrs. ago to put some powpow in my wifes barrel horses and lightly breed outside mares. He's done his job for me and I would like to get him to someone who will treat him right and put him under some nice, heavy mares. We are working his babies on barrels and roping. They have good minds and all day long work ethic. Flash is super easy handling and has only been bred live cover and AI. I can get pics to you of babies and him if you like.
