I don't know, I don't use memory, Seamed like every time I needed to use it the frequency moved on me due to tempurature or something So anymore I just use it in manual mode and type it in and slide it until i get the best signal.

Might want to check and make sure that you are programing it in that mode?? just a guess??

icom antenna

Post by twispcougarhunter »

If you guys that use the Icom radios ever want an antenna just type in the icom IC-M3A or whatever model you have into google and it will give you a detailed description along with the part number. then type that into Google and you'll have a bazillion outfits that sell only the antennas. Don't buy the first one you see. They range anywhere from 28.00 to 9.00 exactly the same antenna. Those antennas screw on and always stick out of your pocket so we've lost several of them. You just can't hardly find them at radio shack.
Can't help ya on the memory loss. I'm lucky to get the thing turned on and half the time forget to push the button when I talk. Gess I should gobackto the walk about -talk about. Made for ignoramuses, like me. Gotta git Bill
