Ultrasonic Dog Slilencers= Do they work?
Ultrasonic Dog Slilencers= Do they work?
Just wondering if anyone has tried out this Bark Stoppers. I have one dog that cant seem when to be quite. I put a shock collar on him and that works, but you can only leave it on for so long. Sure would love some input on this. Thanks

I've tried them on a sled dog team in the past as well as hounds...I've had ZERO luck.

Seems to me they work for the first couple of days until the dogs get use to it and then they just bark thru them even on high. Especially long heavy eared hounds who sort of have a built in sound muffler anyway.Hounds that can cock their ears hear better than the heavy eared breeds. that is a point to rmember when you are calling your dogs or whistling to them or wanting them to pack to other dogs. It is very important to get them to stop to listen. Watch hounds once the began to pant and they are on the move they seldom hear far off hounds on a track once you get them to stop and cock an ear they will probably hear them and go,
I train my dogs to stop and listen. I start in the yard and a sharp wistle really helps. Blow it they are close they stop, and say Ssssst! Listen! pretty soon you will get them to stopping and holding their brerat a little and tuning in. Sounds stupid and simple but it really helps
