HI There from WYOMING!

Post by prariewolf »

HI FOLKS, I am originally from Maine and moved out west in 94' . Prior to that I had owned and trained hounds in Me. all my life and was blessed to have been around and hunted with some of the "greats" in maine . I mostly hunted Bear , Coon and Cat.Some of the folks that I was blessed to have hunted with are : Georges Damon of Freeport, Allison Richards Dexter area, Dan Liberty of Gray, and last but by no means least Tom Hooke of Strong, I know there are others and I mean no insult by not including you . I am nearing retirement and am anxious to return to hound hunting out west here. Glad to meet you folks!

Right now I am living in sheridan , But have lived in the fort bridger -Green river area also. Sheridan is nice but to big , looking for a more isolated location. Kaycee type of town. Any hints?

There are several small towns between Laramie and Rawlins. Arlington, Mcfadden, Rock River, Medicine Bow, and Hanna. On the other side of I-80 is Saratoga and Encampment.
It all depends on what type of area you are looking for. All are close to some good hunting.

There is only one Kaycee! Lived there many years before moving up to Sheridan County myself. If you like Kaycee move there cause you'll never find another town like it. ;) Lots of good memories of Kaycee.
