anyone want to go coon hunting?

dont know much about hunting coon plus the pup is young and i need to get him going. so basically wanting to see if anyone wants to go coon hunting, would be good to meet some more guys with hounds anyway, i'll go whenever just let me know.

Hey hope you find somone to go with, have you found any spots yet. I would start by getting some good spots. get yourself a box trap and catch a few of them. then you dont need anyone with dogs to go with you. Let your pup see that coon in the caige, and get it excited. then tie it off and give that coon a head start. let your dog go and see what happens. Do it around trees thuogh, you dont want that pup getting ripped up. that way that coon will tree, and not want to fight on the ground. Most guys will let you on to run coons as long as they dont have cows in the pasture, or where ever your asking about. good luck.... is your pup out of larry.

Yeah he is your dogs brother, he has seen a couple caged coons i was just trying to find someone to go hunting with, its more fun to hunt with someone than by yourself.

If you make it up by havre sometime we don't have a bunch of coons but we have some.The creeks and rivers are really running right now but I'm sure there are some coons around.
