Aloha from Hawaii
Hello everyone, My name is Willie-Joe I live on the Big Island of Hawaii. I am a hog hunter here and have been hunting for a little over 20 years. I run mainly catahoulas and soon to be starting a couple of Barger stock fiest. I enjoy all types of dog hunting, and enjoy reading your stories. I think there is nothing better than hearing a good bay no matter what the game is. Here in Hawaii we only have Hogs to hunt with our dogs but I some day want to get to the mainland and do some bear or lion hunting with hounds. Aloha for now,Ahiu Pua'a

Hey there KDRChuck, It don't matter before or after but make sure its ok with the spouse. either way you probably don't want to ruin the honeymoon. HA HA... Do you Know people that hunt hogs on oahu? I'm on the Big Island and we have alot more hogs here than Oahu. Pretty hard hunting over there. If you are going to come over to the big Island let me Know and if it works out I could take you for a quick hunt. Aloha, Willie-Joe

My fiance's Aunt and Uncle live on the airforce base in Honolulu, and her uncle said he knew a few guys that did hunt hogs there on the base. I havn't talked to anyone about actually doing it though. I know she is not found of the idea. I'm not planning on going to any other Islands right now but we may. Thanks for the invite, I'll keep in touch and see what happens.

I went to Maui a couple times for boxing, I really wanted to go on a hog hunt but my coach said he didnt want me to get hurt while I was there, Me? get hurt? HA! lol but I think it would be a hell of alot of fun doin some hunting over there.
Bency,
I live in Northern Nevada, the furthest south I have "hunted" (looked for tracks more like) is the tonapah area. I am pretty much just starting out lion huntin, I have been on here for about two years, my female is just startin out now, but I know where a bunch of cats are so if you wanna come up, the snow is fallin as I speak.
