Water race was a great success!

I want to thank all who came to our water race in matlock washington. We had alot of new people and dogs show up. I also want to thank everyone who lent a hand, without you-the trial would not have been such a great success. We had 51 dogs swim on saturday, 30 in the bear race, and 27 in the treeing contest. Afterwards we did a "play date" and did some coon races, double team treeing contest and even got in a few water races, thank you all who entered those. Im not sure what the count on dogs was on sunday yet. Now we are gearing up for our water races on august 14th and 15th, that will be the water race finals. I will post pics later today on our clubs facebook page at olympic tree hound association-please check them out. Thanks again to everyone who attended and lent a helping hand, we appreciate it greatly!

Im so happy to hear you had a good time, we are also putting on the water race finals on Aug 14th and 15th, Hope to see you there. we are going to the pond on the thursday before to set up and to relax a little before the trial LOL.

Well, it's amusing on this end, now. Not so much at the time

I am hoping to make it out there atleast Saturday and Sunday. I wanted to come a day early, to work w/ the dog on swimming in a straight line. Maybe run him solo once or twice? Unfortunately, it looks like I have work Friday, but have Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday off.

Do you usually setup everything on Thursday?

I am going to be there thursday, not sure of the time tho. and yes we try to set up somewhat on thursday, dont know how much we are going to get done tho because abigail and keith are just going to drop off their trailer-I will be staying at the grounds, and they have to run back to federal way to visit with family, and alot of the set-up keith has to do (I have no clue how to do the pulleys etc) Ronny might be there to help out but cant guarentee that.
