If it is ring worm the Tinactin should clear it up within a week if you apply it twice a day.
It has worked for me anyways.

Put Copenhagen on it if tinactin doesn't work

Re: anyone ever have ring worm?
I got a dog from Utah a few years back. She looked a little thin haired in a few "spots", but it appeared to be growing back in. She'd just had pups, and had fleas - didn't think much of it...
About 2 weeks later 3 of my 5 other hounds had ringworm all over there face and ears. Two of them never got it... One of them it didn't really spread other than one by his nose, and one on the inside of his ear... Of course I had a pregnant female due to drop pups and she was covered... I scrubbed it with Betadine, and put some Athlete's Foot/Anti-Fungal cream on 3x a day and it cleared up pretty quick. My female still had hairless places, but it never spread to the pups by time they were born...
Wear gloves, and wash good. Avoid letting them go too many places. Cause that stuff is contagious. Gotta disinfect dogs houses, dogboxes, the whole nine yards.

To verify it's ringworm, take a black light to it as it will glow...............sometimes hotspots can give the impression of ringworms.
