Second hand info is that they are a good honest hound but are not as fast and swingin as our running hounds can be. Sayin that, we have 100 different styles of running hounds out there.coastrangecathunting wrote:can anyone tell me anything about the fell hounds out of england. my dad met a guy that can send me some semin . im going to do it but would like to know if anyone has this breed of dogs or has seen them . im going to cross them with the hardest treeing bitch i got and try to hit the jackpot . i know alot of you are going to say dont try to reinvent the wheel but if we dont try it we will never know.

Dont confuse fell hounds with these dogs. These are basically the same kinda dog as the old field trial dogs used to be here in the states before too much greyhound was infused. Still some greyhound in these dogs but nowhere near the amount we have today in our field trial race dogs.

Once again, these are not fell hounds but sorta a crossed up fell hound.
