My female gave me a lesson in coon hunting last night. I took the family to my son's soccer practice and then out to eat pizza. We left around 5 and got home at 8:30 or so and when we did get home my B&T was out back on his chain raisin hell. Well I went out to tell him to shut up and see what was bothering him. When I finally got him to shut up I noticed that my female was gone and I could hear her down the creek treed. I figured a bear was pestering her and she was giving it the "what for". When I got down to her she had a tree full of coons. Seems as though she found a family of them and got them up a tree somehow. I could count 4 of them and noticed one more set of eyes about 200 yards away on the creek bank. I left her there and came home and got my B&T and went back down there and shook one out to them and they made short work of it. I then took them over to where I saw the eyes on the creek bank and My B&T started that track and they took it down the creek another couple hundred yards and treed a big ole' boar. I shot him out to them and went home.
Beats watchin TV any nite.
