Bear are THICK here.But its a different style of hunting back here that I imagine you're use to.More of a group sport than just you and a buddy.Lots of public ground.Year round training.Kill season for dogs is in Dec.This year we do have an early season 27,28 and 29 Sept.Hell if ya want call me or pm number and I'll call you.

here in western north carolina we can train from aug 15 til oct 12 or 13 when kill season opens. 1st part is open from bout the 2nd week in oct til the week of thanksgiving then opens back up the 2nd week od dec til jan 1. bob cat is open from 2nd week in oct til feb 28 with no limit. but the bobs aint real easy around here. very lil snow some years. coon season is the same as bobs. the popular rumor is we are getting a second tag for each hunter next year on bear.
