have a great season

Post by coastrangecathunting »

Well went out last night around 9 . After hunting for 7 hours and shocking the dogs on a couple coons i found a cat track. It had been feeding on a doe . Dont know how she died i never skinned the head and neck to see if the cat had killed it . It was a good race , the conditions were perfect . The brush was wet from the eirlier rain. The dogs made a loop crossed the road went over the ridge almost out of hearing made a circle and came back to 110 yrds and treed. That will be my last cat hunt for a couple months i leave for Iowa at 3 in the morning . My dad and cousin will be hunting my dogs when im gone so they will be in good hands. Hopefully the motel im staying at has a computer so i can get on here and stay up on all the bs and gossip  . JUST KIDDING. this is a great place to meet other houndsmen , since joining this site almost 2 years ago i have met some great people that i wouldnt have if not for thew site. Everyone have a great season and just because im out of town dosnt meen you can hunt my spots.
