Post by houndcrazy93 »

Hey everyone I'm gonna be getting another hound in a year. And I was looking into. The Cameron line of blueticks. But the are pretty spendy. So can anyone tell me how much a duncan breed pup cost. Thanks everyone for the help

I can't speak for Ken, but last year when I got mine from him it was 250 for a proven cross and 200 for a first time cross. Mine couldn't be bought now.

I called him up about a month ago and he said $250, but he is thinking about raising the price to $300 after this year because everything is getting more expensive.

i just got back from kens about a week ago. he has a bunch of pups on the ground right now. 250 i believe. they should be pretty darn good dogs. the cross is between one of his males and a guys female from montana. if you go to youtube type in stonesthrowkennel. he has a few videos of his pups at 7 months old doing it all. bobcats and lions. so they should be early starting pups. and they both guarantee all their pups and dogs 100%.

Thanks for showing interest in our hounds. I have a litter on the ground write now that is the same cross as cully in the bobcat video. She is the 7 month old pup that is in 2 place. That cross did some pretty amazins stuff at a young age. I hope people see these dogs. Theres a fella named scot olson in montana that has a pup out of that cross from last year last i spoke to him he was very happy with the pup and thought he was going to be the best dog he has ever had. Scot in my opinion ranks high on the list for being a out standing houndsmen. And Ken has a litter also out of cully and hass one of his males. Those pups should start early. Cully, tango ford boon georgia sally kate clair were all treeing turn loses at 18 weeks. And all those pups all had there own lion at six months with no help from older dogs. I believe strongly that people will be very happy with these croses and like i said before if your not just call and i will give your money back . Supper tuff feet hard core on tract and can Catch alot of game they have no quit in them. THANKS AGAIN

I have had a pup on order since winter from ken. I finally got to my turn this past week and it is just too hot to ship him to texas. :( He had two pups to choose from... Mingo/Brandy and Okie/Bomber. I don't know what his planned breedings are but I bet they will suit my needs just fine.

Mingo and Bomber are both good dogs, Bomber has a real cold nose and both tree really good.

My family and I have had quite a few different dogs from Ken over the years and all have made fine hounds. I got a female mingo x sue cross last year. Just ready to start her now I dont mess with pups like I used to, I got to many older dogs.

You wont go wrong with spending $$$$ @ kens place as he will back up his dogs and word. Like scott says you cant buy these dogs after the start they are just enjoyable to hunt.

I have an AKC female out of Obanyon Custer/ Larry Knutson. Ken says he has a cross in mind for me. Don't know what cross it is but he has forgot more than I will ever know about them so I'm happy with whatever he sends my way. I signed up for a male. Not planning on breeding them, they will have to shine and it won't be any time soon even if they do, but it's nice to have dogs that compliment each other. He knows what I'm looking for and I have no doubt he has it in his kennel.

I also have a Mingo Sue female from last year. She did real good after the 6 lion tree. Ended up treeing two lions buy her self at the end of season. She also did well on bobcat. She made every race when she caught on and a few were over 4 hours of tracking. Going to be a good one.
