Re: Johnny Young Bloodlines
Aren't they mostly house bred dogs with some trigg thrown in? At least that's my understanding.
Don't buy the hype.

Re: Johnny Young Bloodlines
Where is Johnny Young from? I'm curious because I'm wondering if he is related to Bill Young out in California. Bill Young used to have a line of cat dogs that were awfullly good looking dogs to be sure! If this is his son, I sure would like to get his phone number if you've got it. David brought home a great looking dog he got from Bill Young and that dog had something that keeps me thinking about it.

Johnny is from Oregon. Brownsville I believe. Although, I haven't been to his house for 10 years or so. He does/did hunt in washington alot, though. Just give him a call if you've got questions. He's quite friendly and full of information.

Yes, he's from Brownsville, Or. The best thing to do is give him a call when he gets back from hunting in Ca. I'd be happy to pass along someones number to him.
Re: Johnny Young Bloodlines
Dan, the dog from Bill Young had no connection to Johnny. Johnny was the bear hunter that held on to the blood from that original Banjo/Rainbow cross made in the early eighties. I dont know if he still has any, but I know that he did as recently as five years ago. Jcathunter was hunting some of it and told me about it. Completely blew my mind.Dan McDonough wrote:Where is Johnny Young from? I'm curious because I'm wondering if he is related to Bill Young out in California.
