Running Bobcats at Night

Post by rickybobby77 »

Its deer season here in new york so we cant really run anything with hounds during the day until after season. I was wondering any of you die hard bobcat hunters run them at night. If we get some fresh snow during deer season, i was thinking about giving it a try on a good fresh track at night. How is it running at night, I would think not much different than the day. thanks Rik

Bobcats mostly hunt during the day IMO. That said I think you find a track at night it'll be pretty close. Use a headlamp... all the obstacles at night is not fun. I do most of my hunting with my pups or my buddy at night.
