Running Bobcats at Night

Its deer season here in new york so we cant really run anything with hounds during the day until after season. I was wondering any of you die hard bobcat hunters run them at night. If we get some fresh snow during deer season, i was thinking about giving it a try on a good fresh track at night. How is it running at night, I would think not much different than the day. thanks Rik

Bobcats mostly hunt during the day IMO. That said I think you find a track at night it'll be pretty close. Use a headlamp... all the obstacles at night is not fun. I do most of my hunting with my pups or my buddy at night.

go down the page to sep. 12 longear got a post started on this well sorta it might be what your wanting to know. some like the night some dont some cant hunt the night then the post kinda switch over to snow hunting
