D.T. systems 500 DT- Any info.

Was just given a Dog Radartron 500 DT training system. I think its an older model. Has antena on the collor. needs new batteries, Othere than that in good shape. Batteries dont last long. I have sport dog training systems,they work great. Is this 500DT worth spending money on,or should i just invest in more sport dog collors?
Just thaught i would ask. James......
