12/11/10 Bear

We went to little citico Thursday (in Tellico) morning we lead out on Grilly ridge none of the Crossville boys was there so we hunted with Jarvis, Vance and Sutton. Me and my cousin Tommy and dad lead out Grilly Ridge we struck half way out it and found a bear track so we turned loose my dogs jack he left with it than Ellie than Tommy dogs Happy Bullet A Red Dog And Roxy they left out with it when they came back through they were walking it they were to the right of Grilly ridge and then some of Jarvis dogs went with um i thank they were popcorn's dogs but Jarvis was hunting them cause popcorn was working we they left us there were only three dogs there they caught ever thang but ellie happy and one of popcorn'swe hunted them all day finnally about 3:00 we were standing at the switch back with Jarvis and dad was getting the dogs attentiated on a 6 and we couldn't hear them so we thought they were coming in so they started hollering for them then the beep got farther and farther till finnally we couldn't get but a 4 regular not atentiated finnaly popcorns come out jarvis said he thought they were barked out cause we turned loose at 7:30 and they caught them on Buck Highway a 4:47and the bear crossed the road
Friday all the crossville boys but Logan was there we run hogs all day
Saturday us and tommy found a bear track after gold Cabin at the first culdasack so tommy and william turned on it they lefty saying nothing when they come back they was barking ever breath they crossed the road and treed it and we turned all the young dogs on it i went in there and killed my first bear
