semi new but got a long way to go

i am out of utah been chasing cats for couple years now with i buddy of mine but want to learn everything i can started dogs to catch coons and got them to lisen well but once they get that good my buddy takes them and finshes them so they can chase lions bear and bobcats. but i want to learn other styles to train dogs so if ya got any helpfull pointers let me know.
