I dont live there but I'd start off by just free casting your dog along the Sandy at night and see what happens. I know the coons hammer the areas where people fish cause of the shrimp heads they toss on the bank and all that stuff. You should be able to get something going there. I'm not sure of the rules and regs. on the parks in that area but anywhere you have a stream or river and a human populated area that leaves food for coons should be alright. Also there is that wetland area on ur right hand side coming into Gresham before you cross the river that has a lot of ground that you might be able to hunt. Hope this helps. Good luck hunting!

P.S.
Wear leather gloves and thick tough clothes cause the briar patches tear ur cloths bad.

I doubt you will have anyone give up their spot. You will have to do like the rest of us and pull out a map and start looking. Pretty much anywhere there are blackberry bushes and water you will find coons. It may take a little while to get your dogs to go in but once they figure out the coons are there they will go. Go out during the day and look for tracks. There are places to catch lots of coon in Oregon. I think your biggest problem will be keeping him from running the bears
