I have a yamaha rx-1 4 stroke. It seems to be a really good sled. A little heavy but more power than any sled I've been on. Also way cheaper and less maintenance than any two stroke. Don't think I would ever buy another 2stroke.

It is a good sled, I own one, and a really good price new or used. You can't carry stuff on the rear fender like on my artic cat, because the exhaust is right under the seat and will melt anything by it.

On my artic cat Hcr, you can attach a pack and other things on the fender, plus way more power and 30 pounds lighter, but does cost quite a bit more.

I've got an '09 and I really like it. You can haul stuff on the back as long as you put a tip on the exhaust to turn it off to the side. I built a rack that bolts to the tunnel that I can haul two dogs on without pulling a trailer. It's a good sled as long as you aren't expecting it to be a powerhouse mountain sled. I like it because it handles great and it starts and runs without worrying about jetting and all the other junk you have to deal with on 2-strokes. So as long as you're not expecting to keep up with the 800 2-strokes, you'll like it a lot.

I didnt know the sold a tip that pushes it out the side on the exhaust, that would make it even better, is that at the yamaha dealer?
Thanks,

I don't know if yamaha builds a turn out tip or not, but just go to any exhaust repair shop and tell them what you need and they'll bend it for a couple bucks. you can either clamp it onor weld it, but I just built it tight enough so that it slides on and stays tight so I can take it off if I want to.
