Located at the Nephi Fairgrounds

GOOD CLUB

JUST WANTED TO THROW MY TWO BITS IN. WE LOADED UP THE FAMILY AND DROVE DOWN TO THERE FALL FIELD TRIAL. THIS WAS A FIRST TIME FOR US IN ONE OF THEIR EVENTS.

HAD A GREAT TIME, KIDS HAD A GREAT TIME, FOR OUT OF STATERS THEY TREATED US LIKE FAMILY. THE OFFICERS PUT ALOT OF WORK AND TIME INTO THERE CLUB. WE LOST A DOG FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME AND THE OFFICERS WERE WILLING TO DO ANYTHING TO HELP.

I DONT KNOW IF I WILL BE ABLE TO MAKE IT DOWN FOR THERE BANQUET OR NOT I LIVE IN RIGBY, IDAHO. BUT IM GOING TO TRY.

ALL I CAN SAY IS SUPPORT THESE GUYS AND GALS THEIR AWSOME. THEY ARE THE BRED AND BUTTER TO THE FUTURE OF OUR SPORT.

Bad Moon,

Yes, anyone is welcome to attend. Last year they fed around 350 folks, women, children, families and many of them were non-hounders, just there to try and win one of the rifles and other stuff.

So yes, you don't have to be a member to attend. Anyone is welcome. See ya there dude!!

I'll shake your hand when you get there but I have a gag order put on me, not allowed to speak at the banquet.

If anybody on here, or anybody you know is interested in being a board member for the Federation of Houndsmen in Utah, or would just be interested in helping with Field Trials or Service projects or anything, please send an email to:

And tell him what you would be interested in. But they will be nominating and voting on a new President and Board of Directors at the Banquet, so please let them know in advance if you are interested.

It doesn't matter what part of Utah you live in, anyone is welcome. Get off your lazy butts and do something!!!

(As I type this bear in mind I'm sitting on my lazy butt doing nothing)

Banquet is in TWO DAYS people!!

Starts at 5:00pm, and there will be 12 guns up for grabs if I remember right, ribs for dinner and the party will move to the Bar when the banquet is done.

Got people coming from as far away as California, should be a good time.

$55 bucks at the door or $100 for two and that includes raffle tickets, a magazine and a membership in the Club.

No it don't include all the booze you can drink Nolte.

I haven't seen a list of who has RSVP'd already but anyone can show up at the door and just pay and come in, so to be honest I have no idea if anyone from out there is coming or not.

And to be more honest, I'm not sure I could put a face with more than one or two guys from out there, so I guess 20 hunters from the Basin could show up and I wouldn't know it.

So I couldn't really say either way... Last year they filled the place to the brim and ran out of food there at the end, so who knows what kind of turn out they'll get this year.

I guess we'll see tomorrow night.

My buddy went to the banquet for the first time and said looked liked a mullet convention.
Sent some pics of Utah members looking to hold office.
These boys did recieve RSVP.
The newly weds used the banquet for thier reception.
He brought his black & tan hound I guess it won some drag race last year was going to get the award at the banquet.
She said she wasn't sure who the daddy was but thought he probaly would show up at the banquet.
I guess it turned out to be quite a shin dig.
Her bouquet was caught by a unknown houndsman dressed as a bridesmaid.
Hay seed in picture number one said he was a shoe in for president.
and wasn't the daddy but was plum discusted with his sister marrying that mormon boy.
The dude in the glasses was runner up last year and said his mullet was a lttle too short.
