Beer Review #37
Beer Review #37
With summer camping coming up, part of getting prepared is searching for an "affordable" camp beer. Everybody has their time-honored favorites; Keystone, Miller and other domestic bottom shelf labels.
The cervesa under the microscope here is Buck Range Premium Light available exclusively at Albertson's.
Priced comfortably at $5.99/12pk, I thought "why not?". Well, now I can tell you "why not"! This stuff's NASTY! Being brewed in NY should have been my 1st clue. This rot-gut tastes like it rode 5 months in a covered wagon to get to PDX. It's honestly the most "pungent" (read skunky mixed with metallicky) beer I've ever had, and I'm a member of the "100 Beer Club" at an Old Chicago's! I wouldn't buy this swill for broke college students to play beer pong with, it's that gross!
With that said, hede my warning and look elsewhere. BRPL is a waste of 6 bucks, which is sad since any beer referencing wildlife should be an outstanding camp beer.
Tom.

Tom: I thought NYC had the best tasting water around
As a bigtime Coast to coast Trucker about 20 years ago I think I may have wacked the last buck in New York City with the truck . Happened in the Bronx section on I-95 . Never saw him coming . One of his antlers did manage to put a hole in the radiator
BUCK RANGE for $5.99 a 12 pack
Did it have a HAZ-MAT warning on it ?

Tom, who buys beer 12 cans at a time anyways??
Busch Light 30 packs: around $15.
Get a couple dozen of those and you should be ready for camp...

BBJ, I thought that "haz mat" thing only applied in the state of Kalifornya
NCB, you're absolutely right....good beer comes in nothing less than a 30pk!
Mofo, we're just gonna fight! EVERYBODY knows Keystone Light is the King of redneck beers!! 'Sides, busch is brewed by that foreign owned-commy budwiser, with their gun control politics and all!!!
