do you guys prefer a roll cage or justy throwing the coon out to the pup :?:

Depends on how old the puppy is. I would start with the roll cage first.

Stick your bare hand IN the cage.When you get it pulled out and bandaged up,then decide if that is something you want a pups first experience to be.This probably sounds a little uptight,but I see so many pups get ruined cause of the mentality that,"if they ain't tuff,I don't want them." Hounds as a whole are tough but why risk letting them get ate up right off.Another reason when I shoot one out to a pup it comes out dead,or gets finished before the pup gets it.Build their confidence to the highest extreme befor they take that first hit.So I guess in a long winded fashion I could have just said roll cage.LOL good luck
