Tracking box question . . .

I got this tracking box included in a trade a few years ago. I like it as my back up box, and when my son gets his rig going I will set his truck up with this box so he can run a few dogs.

This box seems to track 216.000 to 216.100 . It looks like it has been around a while, but it still works well. It is perfect for a starter box.

The questions are this:
1. I have no idea what make it is.

2. Where do I find a charger for it?

3. Does anyone know something more about these boxes?

:D It looks like what is called an RB sold by Johnson, for one. There is an RB 6, RB 10 etc. One model was called "Falconer". They aren't digital. They have one dial for channels and then another for fine tuning.

Thats not a falconer. I had one for years and it didn't look like that.

:D I too have owned a Falconer. I always assumed that the Falconer was a model made especially for hunting with falcons, but worked for other types of telemetry use. The Falconer is only one model of the RB units and there is a little variation over the years with the RB receivers. I am not sure, but it looks much like several of the RB units I have seen. It doesn't look like the Wildlife though, except that it is blue. It could be a Merlin, but I have only heard what they look like. The lettering on the face of the RBs I have seen was just painted on I believe, so that could have worn off. At any rate, I would bet that Johnson Telemetry could answer the question about what it is and supply a charger or patch cord to work off a cigarette lighter plug-in.
