Anyone have a Garmin GPS with out any range

I'm looking for a couple Garmin's that need to go in for repair for range issues.

I just fixed my first one that was damaged by a VHF.

I'd like to buy a couple that are out of warranty for my loaner program and to try and fix them. I'll pay $75-100 dollars for them if the problem is that they are not getting any range.

Even if you have one that you don't want to sell to me but don't want to pay the 160 dollar Garmin charges, give me a shout.

I'm only interested in units that are out of Warranty.

EBAY....what can you fix them for? if we send them in to get fixed can we then get into the loaner program?

There is allot of considerations and risk in taking money to fix something. I try to Keep a good Reputation. I don't want to risk that for $$. I haven't figured out if I will or not.

If you have an old system give me a call and we can discuss things.. But I'm not going to make any claims and it depends on where you stand with the risk of me messing up.. (do you throw me under the bus for trying to save you money?)

So I'm just feeling things out and Looking for some broken units that I can mess with. I don't like buying them on E bay because I really want to find out what the failure is for first...

Buddy I have a DC 30 collar, that the switch is messed up on. Can you fix that or tell me how? (it won't turn on)
