jimmy, all hunting of any game is difficult with the wrong dogs. i hunted way over east and found some difficult cats and ended up in a rock pile more than once....cat hunting is a game that is unobtainable....you can tree a pile of cats and you will realize you don't actually own much for dogs after all...you will live a life time and only own a few real coon, lion, bear or bobcat hounds....the truly greats are what we all aspire to own...what is more important is the company we keep and the memories that carry on long after the furs have been sold at auction.....i suspect just like a trashy hound....i could get sucked into something like that....mike

probably not but that cat looks like it has 5 toes on its front foot. nice cat looks like it was freshly caught. did you turn it loose. its pretty easy just take a stick wack it on the head just right and it will knock it out for a few seconds. to hard u will kill it not hard enough and u wont knock it out.

Jimmy: That is a great looking cat. I did not know that you trapped. Maybe you could teach me so I could catch a few cats. Dewey

The anti's are coming for our hunting rights and our dogs are at the top of their list. Make no mistake they are already very strong, posts like this make them even stronger. You guy's should delete this crap before they use it against us. Thankyou John Warner.

Thankyou for cleaning it up jimmy, every little bit helps some day our kids might want to try their hand at hound hunting. Life's to short, Men rise and fall, right now Dewey is at the top, let him enjoy it, he wont be there long that's just the way it is. thank you. John.

Jimmy knows that I did not trap last year or for several years. He is just seeing if he can shake things up. I like Jimmy, I think him and I understand each other. Like most hound men in this area they are opposed to trappers. We are all in this together, any user group of wildlife. We can disagree but we all had better back each other in the end,we are out numbered and out financed. Some people can not understand how anyone could catch many cats with hounds. If I wanted to learn something better I would be going to the most successful person in the area to learn from. If you already have it figured out maybe your missing something. The most is not necessarily the best. My beliefs on training dogs and what dogs to pick and train go against what most of us know but it works for me and for the people that I chose to share it with. It is nothing new or different hard work, spending a lot of time with your dogs hunting and picking the right dogs for what you want to do. There has been very little trapping in the last 5 years compared to what there was in the late 70' and 80'. If you are not catching cats the only person that can make a difference is YOU. It is much easier to blame someone or something else for not accomplishing what we are up to in life. When one excepts the way it is, it frees you up to enjoy life and to get much more accomplished. Just something to think about. If I have ever said anything to offend someone, I apologize that was not my intent. Dewey

I thought you guys were joking[since I've not been on here for awhile]but I can't believe we're still stuck on this trapping deal.I've got an idea, why don't you go hunting together after season gets going.
Warner5 has a good point about the posts.

   Oh I thought you'd actually want a dog in the race    now I got it,you just like trouble or bad mouthing people,to each their own!!!I don't understand how we got started off on the wrong foot to begin with,if it was something I said or did I'll make it right.I don't have quite the caliber of dogs Dewey has but they have made dogs in spite of me getting in their way at times,so if you like to hunt with'em sometime the invatation is open[when season opens].Jimmy this between you and Dewey,I think??go hunt with the guy,he's easy to get along with, and catches alot game from alot of time spent in the brush.
