Re: Garmin Help Area
I was hunting last Saturday with four dogs. Dogs went down in a ravine at 600 yards and lost communication with all of them. As soon as they got out of it picked them all back up at 500 yards. Dog 3 was still a ? mark, but was showing him moving and I could still read his yardage. His green travel route wasn't showing up on the screen though. When he got to 200 yards he popped back up and his line started showing up again. Is this anything to be worried about?
Also, the dogs were in a very thick pine plantation that is full of undergrowth and briars.

What is the battery life of the DC30 ? We've had 'em now since start of last year. Our Hound season runs from around April to November, using the collars every weekend. Have 2 collars at the moment that after charging are showing low battery only half way thru Saturday, on 30 sec. update. Anyone had collar batteries last shorter or longer ?
