Only tracks low ID numbers
Only tracks low ID numbers
Just got my astro 220 back from garmin ,They sent me a different 220 which is fine with me . Problem is I have ten dc-30 collars , When I entered the exact collar ID numbers I used before, the 220 will only track the lower id numbers. I had to change the higher collar numbers to lower ID numbers .0-28 only work. 220 and all dc-30's have been updated . Friend also sent his in and his works fine with all our low and high ID numbers . Any body heard of this before . Thanks

Re: Only tracks low ID numbers
In layman's terms Think of it this way.
The Id numbers relate to the frequency. It is best to think of the first number as the frequency and the last number as the channel.
0-09= Frequency 0
10-19 Frequency 1
20-29 Frequency 2
30-39 Frequency 3
40-49 Frequency 4
You can use the same channel more than once. Meaning If you use Channel 1 You can't use that channel again
There are five frequencies the astro is using. I've seen them somewhere the frequencies, I'm sure I could look it up.
So what your describing makes sense that you have a couple frequencies that are not functional.
