DC30 will not connect

One of my newer DC 30's I turned on the other day and it had a different light blink pattern I had never seen. One long beep and then one normal fast blink. The handheld can not pick it up. I took the battery out for a half an hour and that did not help. Any ideas???????

got the same thing happing, I cant figure it out either any help on this one????

check your attennas you might have to take the plate off and push it back in i had one that kept popping out and would lose connection during a hunt so i pushed it in tell i got it to get a connection then used some 5 min apoxy and gued it down havent had a problem since if its not the antenna im not sure wut else it could be.
