Men to Mice

Post by U.R.E. »

Well this was a rough winter. It kind of reminds me of a country song. I got divorced, my old dog died, sold one prime dog (money needed for attorney), my companion dog died (cancer), my best dog has been fighting a nasty infection (cat bite), my truck has sustained body damage and mechanical failure and tracking equipment has been broke. All this so I can “claim to be” a cat hunter.
Boy… When I put it in writing I think I need to seek medical attention.
On the good side of the coin (which there always seems to be) Penni is expecting pups on the 27th. I will post an add soon. I have waiting list for 5 pups so far but the xray showed 12 pups. One thing I learned this year was ANY deficit in cat numbers can be made up for with good company.
Thanks for the good year friends, Don

Don,

If you call it good Company, Your standards are a bit low.. ;)

I have a feeling you'll be back on top next year, Penni will be better, turk should be getting that experience you've been giving him, and you should have some good pups following suite.. Look at it this way.. You could be lookin at my ugly coyote chasin dogs... that's something to be grateful of.. ;)

12 pups huh, That's allot, Penni is going to get HUGE.. You might have to get out of the house with all those pregnant girls around you..

Hope to see you in a couple weeks at convention.

Hunt the way we hunted with the success rate we had and still get up and do it again the next morning. Thats good company!!!!!!!

Ugly,,,,NOT!!!! Coyote braking is part of the game.

I truly enjoyed watching the progress of your pack. I have been proud to be a part of it.

Only in a houndsmans forum can you expect your buddies to show sympothy about the loss of your dogs and care less about your divorce . That's pretty funny. I went through the same thing there buddy and hope the best for ya. On the divorce note. I have a gal now that is all for me and my hunting and even though I still struggle with the fact that my children live away from me I am more content with life now than when I was in that messed up relationship. Like mentioned before keep on keepin on.

Sounds like a rough year, but it's amazing what one good day of hunting can make a person forget. :D If it helps at all, I am only on this computer because 7 days ago I had a double hernia operation and Doc says I can't lift over 15 lbs for about 6 weeks. Get the staples out today! Had to time it right for spring bear hunting :D Keep the hounds hunting and things will get better.

Do you know why divorces cost so much? They are worth it. :)
