Wow, this girl has a great plan! Love the last thing she would do the
best.

This was written by a 21 yr old female who gets it. It's her future
she's worried about and this is how she feels about the social welfare big
government state that she's being forced to live in! These solutions are
just common sense in her opinion.

This was in the Waco Tribune Herald, Waco , TX , Nov 18, 2011

PUT ME IN CHARGE . . .

Put me in charge of food stamps. I'd get rid of Lone Star cards; no cash
for Ding Dongs or Ho Ho's, just money for 50-pound bags of rice and beans,
blocks of cheese and all the powdered milk you can haul away. If you want
steak and frozen pizza, then get a job.

Put me in charge of Medicaid. The first thing I'd do is to get women
Norplant birth control implants or tubal legations. Then, we'll test
recipients for drugs, alcohol, and nicotine. If you want to reproduce or use
drugs, alcohol, or smoke, then get a job.

Put me in charge of government housing. Ever live in a military barracks?

You will maintain our property in a clean and good state of repair.
Your home" will be subject to inspections anytime and possessions will be
inventoried. If you want a plasma TV or Xbox 360, then get a job and your
own place.

In addition, you will either present a check stub from a job each week
or you will report to a "government" job. It may be cleaning the roadways
of trash, painting and repairing public housing, whatever we find for you. We
will sell your 22 inch rims and low profile tires and your blasting stereo
and speakers and put that money toward the "common good.."

Before you write that I've violated someone's rights, realize that all of
the above is voluntary. If you want our money, accept our rules. Before you
say that this would be "demeaning" and ruin their "self esteem," consider
that it wasn't that long ago that taking someone else's money for doing
absolutely nothing was demeaning and lowered self esteem.

If we are expected to pay for other people's mistakes we should at
least attempt to make them learn from their bad choices. The current system
rewards them for continuing to make bad choices.

AND While you are on Gov't subsistence, you no longer can VOTE! Yes,
that is correct. For you to vote would be a conflict of interest. You will
voluntarily remove yourself from voting while you are receiving a Gov't
welfare check. If you want to vote, then get a job.

Now, if you have the guts - PASS IT ON...

[And some of you really think this is a plan.Thats whats scarry about where this country is heading.
I have lived in Barracks im a 100% disabled combat veteran not by choice but by draft .
When big business tells you this is what they will allow for you and pay you next to nothing to work remember today.
Its easy to see bigots are alive and well in texas.Do you realize that the majority of the people on foodstamps are children that bear no blame for there status.
These types of statements make sense to small minded people that never think these attacks through.

I agree, u want free government money then you should have drug testing, and if you r on welfare you should half to show that you are trying to help your self out by GETTING a job. If you cant get a job then you should half to volunteer to show you are not a burden to society.

Bigots? Do people not have an option to go work for other companies? I know when I got tired of dealing with BS at my work, I went down the road and worked for the competition. No one stopped me. This country is founded on individual liberty and personal accountability. Not welfare. The federal government didn't even have the power to tax for more than 10 years after the declaration of independence. As far as children go, it is the responsibility of people either through churches or charities to take care of the poor. It should be stolen out of some peoples checks and given to a bunch of druggies to support their habits.

Slow and steady, get off your high horse and give it a rest. I have read some if your posts on other topics and it is clear you like to be on the other side of common sense. If we as a country want to make things better then it's time to get off our asses and get to work.

Yes our problems in this country are disabled people, children, and older people. Not to leave out those wealthy school teachers and garbage collectors .
Couldnt possibly be the banks that almost destroyed the country .The waste of life and fortune spent on the iraq war.
The tax cuts to the rich couldnt be the problem .If they make enough some will fall off the table and the middle class will get the crumbs.
No its because the poor are just to lazy to work .
