maybe, maybe not. Garmin doesn't post such info on their web site, so you are left asking questions on a hunting forum.
If you buy where there is older stock, as in a few months old, then you may end up getting one that won't work. If you buy from a dealer that has new stock, as in a couple of weeks old, then your chances of getting a working unit are better. Either way, the only way to know is to buy one and cross your fingers, and hope you get a working one the first time.
