Dog won't cover my bitch.
Dog won't cover my bitch.
Anyone ever had a dog that wouldn't cover the bitch??? If so, what did you do to get her bred besides AI. The male's 4 and VERY healthy...good motility, and the bitch is READY. She's not snappy or nasty at all. Just kind of a mystery to me right now...Of course, if you didn't want it to happen, you couldn't stop it. Thanks

If the dog is ugly then I would suggest beer, lots of beer!

Darin, you are getting some very solid advise
This doesnt happen a whole lot but AI is the next way but let me do tell you this make sure the vet doing the procedure is experianced at AIing dogs or you will be real disapointed. Andy

I think she's more of a Cuervo gal, but I would have given him anything to not have to have gone through that AI thing...tell you this though Twist, the vet we had do it was a REAL pro, wasn't her first rodeo
.
We think next time we'll have to try and trick him and tell him he's gettin it on with another male.

Thanks Andy, we're crossing our fingers...we only got her bred once, but hoping it took. Guess we'll see in about 2 months.
