California lawsuits

Post by Shorty »

I'm really not up on what's going on in Ca. at this point. I was wondering if anyone had any lawsuits against the state right now. I know we aren't a group of petty people but maybe we're making a mistake. It's in my belief that you Ca. residents need to be slapping a lawsuit on your state every chance you get. I believe y'all should hammer them every time they pull you over just because you have a dog box... That's profiling! Lawsuit.

They have taken your rights away to use hounds but it's not illegal to hunt bear or bobcat. That is descrimination if you ask me, and calls for a lawsuit. Anything that you can think of, take them to court over it. Get the wardens so gunshy that they watch their p's and q's and stay within protocol. The state is already broke and couldn't withstand much abuse from pissed off hounds men and hunters. Win loose or draw your lawsuit will cost the state money. This is exactly what the gays did to get their way. You don't have to spend much money to cost them a lot. Represent yourself so you don't have attorney fees.

It's never to late to come together and fight back. Enough hunters flooding the court systems and they'll have to reevaluate things. Break them down and make them suffer. It's worked for hundreds of years. Frank and Jesse James did it and so can you. Cost them every dollar you can. Kill their bank account and win the fight. JMHO

Mr Gorham.
Great points! here is the problem....We have become complaisant and not willing to fight for our rights, this is why we lose our rights....We seem to be content in allowing Government to control our lives and allow them to continue to roll over on us daily....

Look at the involvement on this board when it comes to legislative issues....You see post sitting for months and not a single person will respond....Why? because it is easier to let some one else fight for your god given rights....Look up hunting related issues on a site called i-fish....Pretty pathetic situation when you have more involvement from a site dedicated to fishing than hunting related issues such as hounds on BGH, CoonDawgs, UKC....

Once more you just call bullshit on Sport hunters pounding your pud instead of doing something, anything! Recently Oregon Dist 17 representative explains this better than myself....

Here are her observations of Oregon hound hunters, give them a choice between a can of copenhagen and a tank of gas or support your own hunting rights, they choose to walk away from the fight.....Sad but true while the opposite can be stated for the opposition forces....Learn from a reactive California, damn did the support come rolling in after S.B..1221, how much proactive prior? Sure you have your core of dedicated folks with CHC etc. but how about all you side line Quarterbacks?

Here is the best place to start in Oregon, California, Washington States. Our very own game departments with lawsuits from hell......Check out the proposed trapping ban for 2014 here in Oregon, written/sponsored by ODFW and USDA....Provisions are in place to allow Government and private landowners the use of traps.....How do you know it was written by HSUS or Trapfree Oregon or?

Oregon Outdoor Council is missing the boat thinking that this will go in a favorable direction unless the playing field is leveled.....When Government is allowed to remain as an alternative solution, you can bet your ass ODFW (State Government) cares less.....I bet the N.W. Timber producer favors this as well....Screw you is the mindset, we passed H.B. 3636 with no one paying attention to take more of your dollars to fund more Government soon after getting away with doubling your license and tag fees.....Just because we could! JMHO!
