I would like to introduce myself. My name is William greer most folks know me as shotgun. I grew up with walkers running deer. We no longer run deer dogs but I do have a couple labs as duck dogs and have gotten into hog hunting. I currently have 2 redbone curr crosses and a ridgeback Pitt cross for running hogs. The ridgeback I've had for a lil while and he does pretty good. The redbones are new to me and are NOT started. I have put them in a pen and both are rough as the devil on a pig. So far I have enjoyed reading lots of the post. Interesting to see the different ways folks run their dogs and the different breeds folks are familiar with that I have never seen except on the net.

Maybe I can contribute something useful.
