New Tacoma questions

How do you guys like the new tacomas for cat hunting. I am looking at a 6 speed standard transmission 6 cylinder. One of the trucks has a manual locking differential that can only be used in 4 low and one doesn't. Is it a big difference? How does all the traction control bs work in 20 inches of snow spinning all day long? Is it hard on the brakes?

If you are talking about the electric rear locking diff you can do a simple modification to over ride the problem. I have done it on my tacoma and now can lock the rear diff any time I want. It works great I use 4x4 a lot less now. If you want to look up the modification google, "Gray wire modification for rear diff lock on tacoma". It is some thing you can do your self and cost about 2 dollars.
