Last spring I donated a hunt to WWIAF which is a foundation that gets purple heart recipients back hunting and fishing.
Sgt Major Pat Corcoran takes a great black bear from a wheelchair, with out dogs this time but still a great story. Worth watching it is only 4 minutes long. The full episode can be watched on Nosler Magnum TV

Re: A hero and his black bear video
Take a few minutes and watch the video. Take another moment to reflect on the Men and Women who put themselves in harms way every day so we can enjoy the freedoms we often just take for granted.
Sgm. Corcoran exemplifies what a true American hero is to me! 26 Years of service to our great Nation and this is the end results! Very lucky to be alive! Hunting should be difined by more than the harvest!
I can reassure you Pat's life has been forever changed by this trip and taking the huge Black Bear with Doug was the icing on the cake. What a week spent in B.C.! I spent the week with Pat and the founder of WWIAF and what a blast, video of Grizzly bears and all sorts of wildlife had given Pat a sense of belonging and living in a World turned upside down.
Without the sacrifice made by Guides like Doug McMann and donations from supporters, this form of therapy would cease to exist. Thanks Doug! Thanks to Pat and John for dedicating a life time of service defending our shores! Thanks to Magnum Global Media, Nosler for Hosting the televised portion with Gary Joseph. This event was planned over one year and required considerable dedication from many volunteers and sponsors. Glad I could bring the ATC for Pat!
Difficult to have a clue what hunting is like in Canada. Click on and take a free four minute ride! Save your money and make a trip! Several of the board members have now hunted with Doug and I know they have been very impressed with the experience!
