new houndsmen in norcal

Hello to everyone. I am a new hound hunter. I went hunting a few times when I was younger, and a few times recently, and am addicted. I have been trying to make friends in the area to hunt with to learn. Made a friend a couple weeks ago, and got my only hound from him. We went out and put a coon up a tree while looking for bear. Season is closed so we just watched them tree for a half hour then took them off. Mine is a four year old, crossed up male. Looking to get another hound or two soon, and hoping to spend the winter in the woods.

I am from Santa Rosa, but for the last few years I bought a place against the Mendo Natl Forest, out of Lake County, on Cache Creek.
