Texas cat hunt on TV show, Predator

Post by floridacathunter »

Just enjoyed a Texas cat hunt on Predator Television show. It featured Mr Joe Braman and his pack of capable hounds. Due to not having as many cats in my hunting territory as they do in Texas, I , personally, choose not to kill any cats, unless our hounds happen to catch them on the ground, not right or wrong,at all, just our way.If your on this forum, Joe, thanks for a good hunt. I'll hush now.John

We will be doing a little calling and hunting with hounds on Joe's ranch at Refugio. We will use the episode to further introduce Joe as the new Co-Host and a little on the history of the ranch.
It has been a pleasure working with Joe as he is a natural on camera. His passion for his family, hunting and his dogs comes across very strong. There is no need for "re-takes" as what you see is what you get.
Adios,
Gary

Got to watch it the other day, Enjoyed it. I was able to Visit Joe last year and I was most impressed with How well and the connection he had with his hounds. It was apparent to me in the first 5 minutes when he started collaring up dogs that he spent allot of time with them.

Joe's kennels are about a hundred yards behind his house. From the time a litter is whelped, he and the girls are handling the pups. He can load his modified Polaris and leave from the kennel and be hunting in a matter of minutes. Now that Jr. Jaramillo is living and working with the dogs, they are getting even more attention. I guess one of the things that impresses me the most about Joe is that when a dog opens, he can say the dogs name immediately. We have had 15 dogs on the ground and 13 of them are his. It will take him less time to call his dog than it will me. Now I know which dog of mine is opening but I can't remember their names. Find myself doing a roll call when trying to get the attention of one of my three sons. Must have something to do with being 60. Good news is I haven't called Miss Deb by the wrong name.
I want ask a favor or each of you guys and gals. Please go to facebook and pull up carnivoretv and like us. Our sponsors like to see numbers following us on social media and we give away a few items from time to time.
Thanks and Adios,
Gary
