Stolen hound near Taos, NM 8/29/13
I had a dog stolen from me yesterday from Little Rio Grande sometime in the afternoon. They took off the tracking collars and threw them on the side of the highway. If anyone has any information on the dog or knows where it is at please call me at 505-929-7005. She is a walker mix. White and brown. I just want my dog back no questions asked.

I wish you the best of luck getting your dog back.
But when someone tosses the collars like that, They have no intention of returning the dog.
2 types of people will toss collars: Anti-Hunters that are trying to "save" the dog from an "abusive life" of hunting, Or another hunter/poacher that just came up on a "free dog". Both types of people are Pieces of Shit.

Thanks. I am really hoping to find her. That is the same thing that I am thinking of why they took off the collars. I just hope those people know that it will get back to them. And I agree with you about them being pieces of shit.

A picture would sure help identify the dog! Is there any tattoos and is she microchipped? If she's microchipped, you'll eventually get a call from any vet or animal control that checks her, best $25 you'll ever spend.

Being that you are in the hippy taos area I would check all shelters in a 100 mile radius.

Yep, all of my hounds are micro chipped. Luckily we dont have many anti hunter tree huggers or thieves around here. I hope you find your hound!!

Still have not heard anything on my dog. Will now be offering a reward. No questions asked.

Why don't you get a picture up? A lot of guys could keep an eye out for her if we knew what we're looking for.

We've had a redbone girl show up in Las Vegas, NM, but no English. Will keep my eyes on the shelters/rescue for you.
She's a beauty. Anything to identify her? Marks, scars, tatts?

Thanks bud. Means a lot. I really am hoping to get her back. She has a scar on her on her inner front leg and I believe it is on the right leg.

For word on an English that was hit and killed on the hwy in Taos on 8/16. She had a blue collar and teats to her knees from nursing. Doesn't sound like yours tho.
