DC 50 problem

I got a new DC 50 and have not been very happy so far. It drops complete signal at close range, sometimes as close as 50 yards and very seldom has full communication. Have ran both dc 50 and dc 30 on same dog and the 30 way out performs 50. Have talked to garmin and tried a few things with no improvement so they are sending me a new collar. Just wondering if any one else has been having problems or if I just got a lemmon.

Yep just got one a month ago and doing the same. The first one I got works just fine though. Good luck.

Im having the same problem. Last year bought one and out performed everything so I upgraded
all my collars to 50s and now I lose them all the time its been really frustrating

Just got the Astro 320 and DC 50 Collar with it. Added 4 other DC 30 Collars that work great. For some reason the new DC 50 Collar only read about half as good as the 30's. One would think with a price tag of approx. $600.00 it would work better. Not happy with the DC 50 what a joke.
