ODFW to change bobcat limit!

Just saw on ODFW website to they purposing to change eastern oregon bobcat harvest from 5 to 3! Hope people go to the meetings and object!

Daniel, you'd be surprised how many support this[ I am not one of them]. The results they showed us at the ousda meeting, didn't support this to happen-- but here we are! Have heard many cry there is a cat shortage, usually has to do with habitat[ can't hunt in the same place forever,sometimes] lots of locked up country[ where they seem to be fluroushing ] and the normal rise and fall of populations. Seems it is up to us as hunters to be good sportsman, and to know when to move to different hunting grounds. Then if we're still experiencing difficulties look at our pack and figure out if they are doing as good as job as we think they are, based on reading sign, and maybe talking to others that are having none to very little trouble finding plenty of cats. If we support this, I hope we are not foolish enough to think we'll get it back!
