Good morning everyone!
I am new to dog hunting. I got my first redbone fresh from his momma and while I was headed down to Ohio to get my pup a buddy wanted one as well so I found him one and picked her up in Indiana. Needless to say he had her almost a until she was 11 months old and gave her to me. I had already started my hound on coon and wanted to start on bobcat. He is a month younger than the female and has been showing a lot of want to please me and be in the woods and hunt. I got the female about 2 weeks ago and haven't done to much with her yet other than introduc her to a caged coon to see her reaction. She responded very well.
Now I will be running them both in the woods for coon and start running them on bobcat scent.
I love the sport, the hounds, and just being out in the woods!
