We have black tail here! does white tail mulies require differnt breaking? :?: Hell lets throw elk in there if your dog is 99.9% broke on one type will it run another type? :?:

Blacktail, whitetail, mulies, and elk all smell different. You may have them broke off deer in your area. Take them somewhere else and you'll have another story. Don't let them get under your skin because it's a complete different smell. It doesn't take long to break them off the other game if you've already got them broke at home. They know how to please you and when you let them know that they are not pleasing you they get the point.

the dog knows damn well they are similar and not acceptable. a good cur dog can tell the difference between horses, donkeys and mules. with experience it'll be able to get which ones you send him after but not the others.
