Our Bobcat quota closed on Dec. 24th. I had a good season, had a personal record of 3 in one day. I decided to be more selective this year in what I shoot because of the low prices. The first two were 25 & 22 lb. toms, the 3rd one was only a 15 lb. female which I should've passed up but it was the 3rd on of the day so it had to die.
The 4th one I shot I was hunting for a big one, I was wanting a nice color over 30 lb. to get mounted. On the afternoon of the 2nd day of passing up smaller tracks I finally found a nice tom track ended up being only 29.5 lb. so it got skinned for the fur market.
Bobcat #6 I caught with a friend of mine who runs black & tans, this one was the best race of all, a road runner. Thought we weren't going to get it up but the dogs got it done.

Re: Montana Bobcats
Always a great day when you have a 3 cat day. Takes some good dogs to do that!
